WORLD RIGHTS is now accepting applications for the 2026 Migrant Women Culture Creator Program
for migrant women residing in Korea.


Program Overview and Support

■ Program Overview

  • Purpose
    - To support migrant women in developing professional skills and building a sustainable foundation for self-reliance through training in teaching methods and content development
    - To help migrant women grow into cultural educators and professionals who can contribute to their local communities

■ Support Details

  • Eligibility
    - Migrant women residing in Korea who have skills or knowledge related to the culture of their home country and wish to use them in professional teaching activities
    *Examples of cultural content include traditional food and desserts, handicrafts, crafts, and other cultural skills or practices from the applicant’s country of origin

  • Support Provided
    - Full coverage of training and consulting fees for the Culture Creator Program
    - Support in developing an individual teaching portfolio
    - Benefit for outstanding graduates: Opportunities to lead cultural classes organized by WORLD RIGHTS, with instructor fees provided
    Participation Deposit: Selected participants are required to pay a deposit of KRW 20,000 after final selection. The full amount will be refunded upon attendance at all required in-person sessions

  • Schedule
    - July 25 (Sat) – August 29 (Sat), 2026/ Every Saturday, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
    *No class on August 15 due to Liberation Day, Attendance at the graduation ceremony is required: August 29 (Sat), 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

  • Venue
    - Seoul Public Activities Center (40 Baekbeom-ro 99-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul)
    *Approximately 200 meters from Exit 8 of Samgakji Station (Subway Lines 4 and 6)

    *The application includes a self-introduction, a detailed description of the applicant’s cultural content or skills, and plans for future teaching activities

■ Selection Process

  • Selection Procedure
    - Application Submission > Document Review > Interview > Final Announcement
    *Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee based on established evaluation criteria

  • Selection Schedule
    - First-round announcement: July 13, 2026 (Mon) *Selected interview candidates will be contacted individually
    - Interviews: July 14 (Tue) – July 16 (Thu), 2026
    - Final announcement: July 16, 2026 (Thu)

- Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered
- Selection may be canceled if any information provided in the application is found to be false
