WORLD RIGHTS Holds Founding General Assembly and Officially Launches

WORLD RIGHTS, an international human rights solidarity organization led by Representative Cho Eunjae, officially announced its launch following its founding general assembly held on March 26 at the Seoul Public Activities Center.

The assembly brought together the organization’s founding members for in-depth discussions on the purpose of establishing WORLD RIGHTS and its future direction.

In the inaugural remarks, Cho Eunjae, appointed as the first Representative of WORLD RIGHTS, stated, “We will become a strong bridge of solidarity toward a society where differences are respected.” Cho added, “Through transparent and sincere action, we will demonstrate the value of interculturalism that WORLD RIGHTS seeks to advance."

Moving forward, WORLD RIGHTS plans to focus its activities on three core areas: Intercultural Solidarity through networking and community building, Self-Reliance and Capacity Building through education and support for vulnerable groups, and Rights Awareness through human rights advocacy and campaigns.
