WORLD RIGHTS Launches the 'Migrant Women Culture Creator Program'

WORLD RIGHTS, an international human rights solidarity organization led by Representative Cho Eunjae, officially launched the Migrant Women Culture Creator Program with an opening ceremony held on July 25 at the Seoul Public Activities Center.

The program was designed to support migrant women living in Korea in building independent careers as professional cultural instructors who connect with Korean society by drawing on the rich cultural heritage of their home countries. A total of five migrant women from diverse backgrounds, including Vietnam, India, and Russia, are participating in the program. The five-week course runs from July 25 to August 29, with four-hour sessions held every Saturday.

Through the structured five-week curriculum, participants will develop a wide range of practical skills required as professional instructors, including developing lecture content and lesson plans, strengthening presentation and communication skills, creating teaching materials and managing classes, building a professional instructor brand, and delivering practice lectures.

Outstanding participants who successfully complete the five-week program will also be given opportunities and additional benefits to work as professional instructors in future cultural education programs organized by WORLD RIGHTS.

A WORLD RIGHTS representative stated, “Through this program, we hope migrant women will move beyond simply adapting to life in Korea and grow into active cultural communicators and empowered agents in their own right.” The representative added, “WORLD RIGHTS will continue to provide practical education and support that promotes the economic and social independence of migrant women while expanding the value of interculturalism.”
