'Migrant Women Culture Creator Program' Completes Week 3

The Migrant Women Culture Creator Program, launched by WORLD RIGHTS on July 25, successfully completed its third week amid the participants’ enthusiastic engagement.

Designed as a five-session program, the course began with instructor branding, helping participants build their professional identity as cultural instructors. During the first two weeks, participants also received training in lesson plan development and core presentation skills to strengthen their communication and delivery. The sessions placed a strong emphasis on hands-on practice, with participants writing their own scripts and delivering presentations rather than focusing solely on theory.

For the third-week session, WORLD RIGHTS invited Dr. Cho Namchul, former President of Korea National Open University, to deliver a special lecture titled “Multicultural Korea: The Role and Value of Cultural Instructors.”

During the lecture, Dr. Cho emphasized that cultural instructors who promote the value of diversity in Korean society are “not simply conveyors of knowledge, but active agents of intercultural exchange who connect people from different walks of life.” The message offered participants both inspiration and a renewed sense of purpose. The lecture was followed by a meaningful Q&A session, during which participants shared their concerns, experiences, and aspirations as they prepare to work as cultural instructors in Korean society.

A WORLD RIGHTS representative stated, “The combination of practical training and the special lecture gave participants an opportunity to build not only their teaching skills, but also a stronger sense of pride and purpose as cultural instructors.” The representative added, “WORLD RIGHTS will continue to provide close support throughout Weeks 4 and 5 so that each participant can confidently take the stage as a professional instructor.”
