'Migrant Women Culture Creator Program' Holds Week 4 Practice Lectures

The 'Migrant Women Culture Creator Program', operated by WORLD RIGHTS, held its fourth-week session on Saturday, August 22, at K-vibe Studio near Sinnonhyeon Station.

During the session, four participants each delivered a 30-minute practice lecture based on the content they had developed through instructor branding, lesson plan development, speech training, and other sessions throughout the program.

Drawing on their own cultural experiences and strengths, the participants presented four unique classes: a Matryoshka Class featuring traditional Russian nesting dolls, a Vietnamese Embroidery Hairpin Class introducing traditional Vietnamese embroidery culture, a Rangoli Canvas Class inspired by Indian festival traditions, and a Bánh Xèo Cooking Class offering a hands-on experience of Vietnamese food culture. Each class combined cultural explanation with interactive activities, giving participants practical experience in leading a full session as cultural instructors.

After the practice lectures, the group shared the bánh xèo prepared during the cooking class and reflected together on their experiences over the past four weeks. In a relaxed setting, participants spoke openly about the challenges they faced when first preparing their classes, shared how they felt after completing their practice lectures, and encouraged one another’s growth.

A WORLD RIGHTS representative stated, “Through these practice lectures, we were able to see participants take another meaningful step forward as cultural instructors by transforming their own culture and experiences into educational content and learning how to communicate it to others.”

WORLD RIGHTS will continue to support participants in further developing their individual class content and building the confidence needed to lead programs in real-world settings.
